چکیده
A train–tunnel–surrounding rock numerical model was established by using ABAQUS to analyze the dynamic response of a heavy-haul railway tunnel in hard rock, quantify influence train axle load on and determine its potential vulnerable position. The results suggested that: Under 30 t surrounding pressure coupling, maximum principal stress caused 1.27 MPa, located at bottom structure below side drain; base directly rail. lower part drain rail position structure, probability disease under may be higher than that soft-rock tunnels, for it has greater thinner compared tunnel. amplitude were 129.3 kPa 43.0 kPa, respectively. When increased 1 t, structure’s about 4.14 rock’s 1.33 kPa. not negligible analysis tunnel, will decrease, obviously, when is ignored.

Rubber Pad Intensity and Track Stiffness of Double Slip Turnout in Heavy Haul Railway
Double slip turnout is common in heavy haul railway and due to its complex structure, its maintenance is difficult as well as important. Focusing on No.12 double slip turnout (75 kg/m rail), this study analyzed the intensity of the different slotted rubber pad under iron plate and track stiffness of turnout zone based on the finite element method with a purpose of improving the performance of t...
متن کاملEffect of train-type heterogeneity on single-track heavy haul railway line capacity
North American heavy haul railroads are experiencing growth in traffic demand and increasingly facing capacity constraints. A key factor influencing railroad operations is heterogeneity in train characteristics. Different train types can have substantially different operating characteristics including maximum speed, power-to-ton ratio and dispatching priority. This heterogeneity causes conflict...
متن کاملPillar Design in the Hard Rock Mines of South Africa
This paper gives an overview of the difficulties associated with the design of hard rock pillars in South African mines. Recent examples of large scale pillar collapses in South Africa suggest that these were caused by weak partings which traversed the pillars. Currently two different methods are used to determine the strength of pillars, namely, empirical equations derived from back analyses o...
متن کاملDynamic Optimization Research on the Section Morphology of Large-span Tunnels in Shallow Rock Mass
The optimization design of the section morphology of large-span tunnels plays an important role for saving cost and improving the engineering stability. The flat ratio of tunnel which is as an important control index, its rationality is the key problem in the design of tunnels. Program with Python to set up the dynamic calculation model of a large-span tunnel planned to be constructed which can...
